Our founder, April McCalmont, brings over 20 years of experience as a global HR executive guiding leaders, teams, and organizations through complex conversations and high-stakes decisions. Throughout her career, April has built her reputation on fairness, neutrality, and the ability to help people find common ground — whether navigating workplace disputes, coaching executives, or supporting organizational change.

Building on this foundation, April obtained the mandatory educational  requirements to Mediate in the State of Texas, with specializations in workplace & employment, business & civil,  family planning, and elder care, adding formal training to her decades of practical experience. This unique blend of professional HR expertise and mediation experience allows her to approach conflicts with both neutral compassion and structure, ensuring that every voice is heard and every solution is workable and sustainable.
